This 1.8-litre supercharged and turbocharged engine, which uses sequential multipoint fuel injection ("GS4" direct fuel injection system), is available with an advanced intake manifold integrated into the cylinder head (APU??Audi Power Unit). The APU engine is fueled by high-performance dual-spray direct injection and features a counter-rotating balance shaft to reduce vibration.
