The power unit was a product of reliability and this is not unfounded, because it was put on a wide range of BMW cars. This engine was produced by BMW Plant Hams Hall, and the engineers named it serial number 20. The cylinder block was made of aluminum. "Used" exclusively 95 and 98 gasoline, had an in-line configuration with four cylinders. The two-liter engine produced 190 horsepower at 5,000 rpm. As for the torque, from 270 to 350 Newton meters, at 4600 rpm to 4800, respectively. The engine used technologies of the European standard Euro-6.
