The rear shock absorbers can be of two types: gas or oil (the same material as in the front). When the shock absorber is worn, the lives of the people who ride in the car are at risk as grip is no longer guaranteed when cornering, in the rain or when braking. In fact, brake pads as well as brake discs cannot function effectively and their life span is shortened.
Tip: always replace your rear shock absorbers two at a time because if you change just one of them, the car suffers from a significant imbalance.
