Lou Appel's Auto Spares, originally "Lou Appel's Motor Graveyard," was founded 90 years ago by Lou Appel on land purchased by his father Max, a blacksmith. Starting with just a small house-turned-office, Lou and mechanic Chris Wessels expanded the facility with a two-story building.
